2010 Pyramid Run November 7, 2010
Please join us for the 2010 edition of the Pyramid Run at Long Beach State University. The event will be held on Sunday, November 7, 2010. The 5K run will be held on a fast, scenic course located entirely within the beautiful CSULB campus. It will begin at 9:00 AM. Runners, joggers, and walkers of all abilities will find this an enjoyable event. A 1 mile Kid's Run (ages up to 16 years) will begin promptly at 10:00 AM. Awards (including prize money for top 5K finishers) will be made immediately after the Kid's Run. Both events benefit the Long Beach State Track and Field/Cross Country programs.
Popular amenities include free, on-site parking, ample restroom facilities, chip timing (with race splits at 1 mile, 2 mile, and 3 mile points), interactive online results, pacing services, race photos and video, and (new for 2010) an on-site food and beverage concession.
Stay tuned for future announcements of notable race participants. Last year's event featured CSULB president Alexander, men's basketball coach Dan Monson, and Long Beach Councilman Robert Garcia.
